By accessing or using SynapseCPT ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform.

SynapseCPT is a clinical practice and training platform designed for medical specialty training programs. The Platform provides tools for clinical data management, audit infrastructure, training analytics, and compliance reporting.

User Accounts

Account creation and responsibilities

Account Creation

Access to the Platform requires an account created through your institution. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

Your Responsibilities

Provide accurate and complete information
Keep your credentials secure and confidential
Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Acceptable Use

Use the Platform only for lawful purposes

Prohibited Actions

Access data you are not authorised to view
Attempt to bypass security measures
Introduce malicious code or interfere with the Platform
Use the Platform for purposes other than clinical training
Share your credentials with unauthorised users
Reverse engineer or copy Platform features

Data and Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You acknowledge that clinical training data entered into the Platform may be accessed by authorised personnel at your institution.

Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its software, design, and content, is owned by SynapseCPT and protected by intellectual property laws. Your institution's training data remains owned by your institution.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability, with advance notice where possible.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SynapseCPT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms or at the direction of your institution. Your institution may also terminate access according to their agreement.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
